    This week's hardware sales

Week 23 of the Japan top 20 software sales is here and Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star Link is straight into the number 1 and 2 spots with nearly 120k units sold when combining PS4 and Vita versions.
New release Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido fails to break 10k units when combining 3DS and Switch numbers.

Hardly any movement in hardware numbers except for PS4 which sees a small spike of 8k.

Why am I not surprised Pokemon is still going up on the charts, it's gonna be interesting when the Let's Go series is on there

Christ, Sushi Striker flopped. I suppose that's good in the sense they'll probably end up lowering the price to what it should've been in the first place. £25 for Switch and £20 for 3DS would've seen far better sales for what it is.

    Your mom's basement.
Will Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star Link come out on Switch since it's on Vita too?

Interesting to me is the position on the weekly charts VS the lifetime sales in buying habits. To my untrained eye it seems like Nintendo games sell more overall copies but in short term periods Sony manages to spike up on to the charts then quickly drop off.

I am curious about the library's of the perspective owners and attach rates to the consoles, with PSV sales being on here surely the Vita must have in insane attach rate to even be showing up on this chart? I mean I know the Vita sold much better in Japan than anywhere else (Still not sure why it was not more of a success.)

I read all of these Media Create things always looking for some insight into what makes something a hit VS a flop, sometimes it's obvious when something is going to fail or be a huge success other times like with the Vita I am mystified to no end.
