Maybe have a FAQ link from the Forum page?

It could include the simplest things people ask again and again.
Much like the sticky topics in the hardware forum, it'd free some space on that forums first page.
how to setup and fix common problems with Flash Linker, F2L etc.
Also instructions on what emulator are good to get and how to setup the bios file, etc.
Explaining what the numbering systems currently used, which the forum uses, maybe how to get going on mIRC.
I'm sure others could figure out many more topics to be covered.
Maybe also cover the forum rules for posting, suitable avatars, preferred image size for signatures, etc.

A simple instruction for everyone to read the FAQ before posting questions.
Would reduce the number of repeat topics.
I'm sure one of the more enlightened members would write it for you, only to save you time, I know you know what you're doing.

thats a fantastic idea!!! actually ive had this sort of idea b4, like a "NEWBIE Guide" . this guide could quite basically keep a newbie from pissing a admin. off(gee wonder who might that be
