    Hello again!

I've read around about removing Photo, Weather, News and Mii channel, but couldnt found info about this one.

I'm planning to remove them all since I want a clutter free wii. Oh, and before you go crazy on me, I know it might not free much space on the memory; I just don't want to have them around, that's all! And also, I have several NAND dumps from a BootMii at boot2 installation, so that'd be my safety net.

Anyway... before deleting them all, I went the extra step to dump every WAD with Wanin WAD Creator. When I got to the Wii Shop channel, it gave an error (-1017), although the file is created in the SD card (probably won't work to restore it from there).

In any case, can I remove this channel too and do you know if later I could easily restore it? I mean, without restoring from the NAND backup and loosing every customization in the progress.

    Thanks for your time

Removing them does not free up blocks, just so you know.

Yes... I knew that. The thing is, can I recover the Wii Shop afterward somehow?

And with a WiiShop Channel WAD? Is there one around that'd work?

Why not just move it to another screen and forget about it?

I second that statement. Just move them to the last page and you won't have to go through any of that. I forgot mine were even there [IMG]

And is there such channel? Because I've looked around and couldn't find it, neither the Mii Channel. And the NUSD doesn't seem to be able to get them; at least couldn't find their IDs in the WiiBree Wiki Titles IDs.

I did backup the Mii Channel with WAD Creator, but as I posted, the Wii Shop Channel gives an error when trying.

Already deleted them [IMG] and everything seems to be working fine. IDK what will happen when I try to play a game that uses Miis (probably nothing: will allow me to select from predefined ones) and neither do I know what for a game like Nights that uses the Weather Channel... would be a nice little experiment to try it [IMG]
