that can be use in the wii ?
i'm new at this so i don't know which one to get i asked my dad to get that one so i hope i'm right.
The compatibility list says that drive is compatible. You should have checked it in the first place.
It is the last drive in the 1TB section: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/USB_Devices_C...bility_List#1TB
there is a list huh? ok thanks for that.
my cousin has the 500gb version and it works fine
I have that one. I've had since May of this year and it is already dying, it makes very loud gross noises, and it also has problems reading. It also runs very hot if you leave it plugged in for a long time
You got a lemon, i have the 500gb version of this its been the best for wii i've used before, fast/works everytime, and its around 1yr old now
I recommend WD portable elements. They are small, USB powered, and I have never had a problem with one. These don't come with crapware built into the firmware like the passport models - which don't work with the Wii.
Personally I don't like Seagate and would not buy that brand.
the passport works with the wii, i have two that both have no problems. both have smartware installed.
WD Passport's have given me the least problems.
