The game was the shit back in the day.
They waited too late to make a movie, IMO.

But of course, I'll watch it! [IMG]

    Just kidding. [IMG]

The 2nd game was epic, really was but like most games that originated on the PC kinda lost it on the last couple of levels.

THE shit, not shit. I watched this on youtube, fast load + in english. I played the first game and loved it, and I just got the second a little while ago, I'm a few levels in. I absolutely love the 2 games, and for a game-to-movie adaptation, it actually looks pretty good. Nice to see that some A-list talent got attached to a game-movie. Really opens up some interesting possibilities. I think that the thing that made Max Payne great was the story. Sure, it was a bit shallow, but the detail was amazing and out of most games it has in my opinion one of the greatest amounts of potential to be a successful movie that will appeal to more people than just gamers.

It's a really good game, but I don't approve of the movie industry basing their bad movies off of other stuff. It's demeaning to the based object and it is only a means to get money and nothing else. I say the movie industry is going into a slump because of the rise of these types of movies; Hollywood is getting unoriginal and boring.

    Take, for example, Eragon.

I loved the game, but seriously, why do they have to make it a movie? Why!?
