Hacking Mass updating my consoles, currently Wii U of course!

I can't remember last time I updated, may of been more than 3 years may of been 2 and a half years ago but either way its just sitting here unused.

Has the virtualwii mod on it, of course wrote a thread 18 months ago asking the same just checking if anything is different.

If you want to hack the "U" side of your "Wii U", don't update! There are guides for setting up Haxchi and Mocha CFW. Follow those.

Do not update any of your consoles, and check for most desirable firmware for homebrew on it before you do (if you're interested in homebrew or cfw, that is)
Currently keeping your Wii U on 5.5.1 is your best option if you are interested in homebrew/backups

Thanks, sorry for not replying thus far I thought I would get thread update in options.

Well I was thinking of at very least having a backup launcher, ideally with cheat opions if thats available and something which can use emulators if they exist (as can plug it into a old crt via scart)

So not sure the best.
