How do you get a speed boost when the countdown timer hits zero when you're about to set off?

slam on the gas right after 2 disappears.

When its counting down and the 2 gets the biggest hold down the gas button

Right when the 2 starts to shrink (after growing)

The very best time is when the 2 is at its biggest. The other two work as well, but the boost extra speed depends on the time you start slamming the gas. (it's not really that big of a difference)

At the half of the appearing of the 2. It will shrink shortly after this!
