    Well i decided to finish up hacking my Wii which i left for like 4 months partly hacked
    I was following tj_cool's guide from beginnging to end because i wanted to play Mariokart [IMG]

    I just finished installing the Cios's (Wank's and Hermes installer v5) and i tried Mariokart (PAL) off my external HDD with usb loader gx. It didn't come up with any boxart but when i clicked on it, it had the starting tune but when i launched it, it just black screened.

    So my question is, how do i get Mariokart working and would someone please explain goddam wii AP to me and how to bypass it

    Use Dop-Mii carefully, then choose IOS, IOS36 (v3608), do a network install and press A to begin. (Don't worry, IOS36 will be updated/re-writed)

    Then restart your Wii, and re-run Mario Kart and see.

    Make sure you have at least Hermes V4 *if running through cIOS 222/223 OR Waninkoko's CIOSX 20 at IOS249/250.

    Usb loader GX is not compatible with hermes cIOS v5 and not very compatible with wanins cIOS v19 or higher. Are you able to start the game with configurable usb loader?

    @coto (also zeromac):
    IOS36 will do NOTHING. A USB LOADER is using a cIOS like cIOS249. Only the Disc Channel with the use of RETAIL discs is using a normal IOS like IOS36.

    Ahhh I get it, you mean any IOSXX(used by the game itself) will be used with retail discs only, through Disc Channel.

    A back-up(both USB or DVD) will still need a cIOS, though if loaded ie: through NeoGamma.

    1) Almost always, Hermes cIOS 222 v5 is the one to use

    2) USB Loader GX is a piece of CRAP. It hasn't been updated in like 6 months. Use Configurable USB Loader.
