Misc mariocard ngc user go alot faster?

when i play mariocard online i notice that the ngc users always go faster then me.

even when i shoot opjects on them or use mushrooms i cant catch them.

any ideas or suggestions or does anybody else notice this?

Its either:-

1. Because you suck

2. Because they rule at the game

3. Because they use power slide boosting
