There should be one I reckon, hopefully they'll take out the power shots.

The power shots were the best thing, without them it would be just normal tennis.

Hasn't there been a Mario Tennis for every Nintendo system since the N64? I reckon we will see one for the Wii and also one for the DS in a few years, probably with Wii-DS connectivity.

To me the power shot system just made it easy. I do get a feeling that maybe Nintendo will get Sega do a Mario & Sonic Tennis game...though I hope they don't!

Would love a DS game, as long as the RPG mode is better and more varied.

Camelot part ways with Nintendo a while back, so don't hold your breath for Mario Golf Wii... [IMG]

Just because they're a third party doesn't mean Nintendo won't let them make a develop a Mario Golf game. Nintendo do a lot of work with third parties e.g. Sega > F-Zero, Sonic and Mario at the Olympics. Namco > Mario Kart GP/Donkey Konga/Starfox. I'd be really surprised if the next itteration of the Mario Tennis/Golf games were developed by anyone other than Camelot.

    Anywho... Camelot fans fear not:

    Looking forward to it!

Mmm well they could still make it, its not as if they parted badly or were bought by another publisher. They're not really signed up to a publisher even though Capcom is putting out their golf game on the Wii.

Never say never I guess, I do get a feeling that they're wanting to be free to do their own stuff instead though.

EDIT: We could still get a Mario Golf, Camelot doesn't have to make it!

Camelot does not have to do Mario games for them to be good. Golden Sun?

I'm really looking forward to We Love Golf (though I hope they change the name for US version), and maybe if a tennis game from Camelot to the Wii or DS, I bet it would be great, with or without Mario.

Seeing how everyone love Tennis on Wii Sports N has to bring Mario Tennis to Wii, of course with Nunchuk support so you can control your character.

Any Mario sports game resolving around stick-like sports (Tennis, Golf, Hockey, etc.) are really just a matter of time with the Wiimote and all.
