Gaming Mario Strikers Charged Scores!

Sorry about the pun, so the next big Wii game is Mario Strikers Charged, can't say I liked the previous game that much though it was fun in multiplayer but the Wii game is getting better reviews:

IGN: 8.7 (Which is quite good seeing their reviewer underrates any game that isn't RE4 quality visuals)
Eurogamer: 8/10
ONM: 91%
N-Gamer: 6.5 (They did review a none online version)

Have to say, surprisingly good reviews. I think the majority of which is benefitted by the games online mode. Even people that talk about the GC original remarked that the game was great to play with more than one person.

Me and my friends still play the gamecube version. It will be sweet to upgrade to the wii version. Hope it gets dumped soon

Thankfully, Next Level has paired down the game's controls from Charged's Leipzig debut last year, with the slightly fussy waggle-tackle now replaced by a simple button press. In fact, despite using remote and nunchuck attachments, controls are impressively stream-lined, with the developer reigning in any wayward waggle-tendencies for a more straightforward, accessible approach. As it happens, only the Wii's unique pointing functionality makes an appearance in the game and, even then, it's limited to a brief Duck Hunt style mini-game during Mega Strike Goals.

Good. Tacking motion controls onto games like this is a terrible idea.

I suprisingly saw this game just now at Medi Max here in Germany for 42€. I wonder if it would be a good buy.
