anyone know how well mario rpg works emulated on the ds?
i'm assuming not too well if at all since the snes cart had a special chip in it.

Doesn't work probably not possible since the DS isn't strong enough to emulate the super chips (They are 3x the power of the SNES! That's like the N64's power right there kinda).

Uhh no... the SA1 that MarioRPG uses is just a second duplicate of the SNES main cpu, but part of that chip is reserved apparantly to store a small chunk of the game to try and stop pirating. The only thing that's I guess 2-3x more powerful would be that FX2 chip that supplied the visuals for DOOM and Yoshi's Island. THAT would be a true pain and not possible as would that massive compression chip the SDD1 that Star Ocean and SF Alpha 2 used.
