well, i think FF XII will be better, i'm getting it first anyway.. but MPDS seems nice too, just no wi-fi

HUGE mistake Nintendo.. HUGE..

Right...
Take into account that it would take at least an hour to do the shortest game, and if someone is on the verge of losing, they'll probably turn their DS off and that would piss all the people off.
They made the right call on this one.

well, what if the map/level things are shot huh? and even if they turned their DS off they would be last place which is.. good.. and we would continue our game

i would have loved mario party ds to have wifi, but personally i think nintendo decided not to do it because a full game of mario party would take too long and a lot of people would either quit halfway or just d/c and drop out

of course wifi minigames could have been fun but i still think nintendo made the decision they needed to

Even though I'm getting both, I think I'd want to get FF more than Mario Party. MP seems more of a party game, and not a lot of my friends are planning on getting it, unfortunately :\ Besides, I always get every FF game that comes out anyway. :]

I cannot tell you how much I hate Mario Party. I like video games that involve a certain level of skill, so dice throws... Ugh!
I haven't played a final fantasy since the SNES days, but I'm very interested in the gambit system.

Still, just playing minigames with multiple people would've been fun. Like for example, six random minigames in a row.

edit: so yeah, FF

MP. I love Mario and all of those characters, shame the game has no Wi-Fi.

FFXII...meh, I really don't like the FF series, I prefer Zelda, and after the fail of FFIII....

Mario mario. I borrowed a friend's PS2 once to play all the Final Fantasy games, but I didn't end up playing anything (time issues :X)

No wifi on Mario Party isn't as big of a deal for me as it seems to be for you guys. Mario Party is only fun if you're sitting next to the people you are playing.
