Gaming Mario Maker 3DS with .cia safe to play?

Hello everyone,so i recently bought a 2DS to play 3DS and DS games and i installed homebrew,CFW,FBI,etc..
I wanted to know about the game called "Super Mario Maker" if its say to play with a .cia file.I never seen a proper awnser for that and im scared to do it alone without knowing anything(in that case i dont wanna break my 2DS).Any help will be thankful!

Of course it's safe, CIA's are installing the game to your HOME menu.
CIA games can also access internet features, but don't cheat or else you can get console banned.

Pretty much nothing can go wrong, worse case scenario is getting banned, that's all. No risk to your 2DS as long as you got the .CIA from a trustworthy source.
