Gaming Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story White Screen

Hello.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story gives a white screen.
What's the problem and is there a fix?

I have R4i Gold card from R4i-gold.hk. I actually bought it at some market in my country a few months ago.

P.S Also got an errorcode -81 on 0004 - Feel the Magic XY/XX

Can anyone help me?

It sounds like your flash cart does not support it

Did you ever update the firmware of the flashcard? Maybe that's too old.
And there were Anti-Piracy patches for many games, can't remember right now if Bowsers Inside Story was one of them.

pretty sure error -81 means you need to reformat the Micro SD
as for the white screen, you need to update your Flashcards Kernel Files

What firmware I need to download to get Mario & Luigi: Bowser's inside Story to work?

EDIT: I found one on the site of my card, with __rpg and _DSMENU.DAT.
But I checked the filesize, it's smaller than the ones on my Micro SD card.
Is that normal or did I download an older one?

And I'm not sure about reformatting my Micro SD card, ofcourse I made a backup of other important folders like SYSTEM, data, dxreader, 3DSCARD.DAT etc. but will it work with the __rpg and _DSMENU.DAT I downloaded?

__rpg? It sounds like your card uses a hacked, likely unstable version of the Wood R4 kernel. If you haven't tried it, I guess give it a go, since it might be as good as it gets for your cart. Otherwise:

Maybe try http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/f...etrogamefan-multi-cart-update-699-f31964.html. There's no guarantee that it will work on your cart, but it might.

errcode=-81 refers to fragmentation on your µSD. You must do the following to fix :
Backup and FULL Format with the Panasonic SD Formatter.
Reinstall your carts original kernel.
Download my RetroGameFan DAT Update 6.99 6179 and copy the .dll files from the DLL folder to your SYSTEM folder on your µSD.
Create a Games folder on your µSD and copy your games there

The game still doesn't work using TT Menu, also, the R4i-gold.hk isn't there in your Multicart
Isn't my card supported at all??

If you have latest usrcheat.dat then try using "Backup Enabler/Game Fix Code" on top of cheat list. That one worked for me when I had DSTT and worked using "save and continue" on savepoints and gave couple more seconds time to save.

If I were you I would just get Acekard 2i, legit R4 or DSTwo if that card wasn't expensive.

Ok, I got the latest usrcheat.dat but now I get a TTRESET.DAT error and I have the ttreset.dat.
And even when I turn off 'Reset I still have the error.
What do I have to do now?

it may be a lost cause. search the cards' support forum for similar issues (if one exists). other than that, you may just be better off forking over $10-20 for a better card that can run it.

patch with ds scene rom tool and ap patch or with usrcht enable ap code.
