Mario Kart Wii weird problem

    I have the latest cIOS from modify.zip using USB Loader GX loaded on cIOS36 v3351.
    My loader uses ISO249 to load backups.

    When I try to run Mario Kart Wii, in the first level of Banana Cup, the game refuses to respond to my controller at certain point (the cave).

    I finished the first two Grand Prix cups fine, but couldn't pass up the first level, N64 Sherbet Land, of Banana Cup due to the issue above.
    The game still runs when I reach the point, but then my character within the kart continuously responds to the last combination of buttons I was pressing with right before it stops working.
    For example, if I'm turning to the right at that point, the kart will spin in circle clockwise and even pressing the home button won't help much. The light on my controller is still on.

    Can anybody help me on this please?

    I had this problems sometimes with one of my nunchucks and before using usb loaders. Remove and reconnect the chucky and you can continue driving.

    might be a faulty Wiimote, give it a slight hit on the top where the IR is and it might knock it back into par

    I don't think it is. I've tried with four of my Wiimote.
    Plus, it only happens to that very spot, somewhere in the cave of the level.

    I tried changing IOS, IOS223 and IOS222 makes the game completely freeze just as I finish the second lap but no issue is present on the cave. Also they disable background music when I leave the cave in the first lap. While with IOS249 and IOS250, the issue I talked about in the OP still exists.

    Try using a different loader (I'm grasping at straws here).

    I have the game and it plays flawlessly. Don't know the first thing about game coding, but could it just be a bad rip?
