Hacking Mario Kart Wii Backup

I modded my Wii a few days ago and 2 of the 4 backups I tried work. They are all good backups. The one that I am trying to get to work is Mario Kart Wii. First of all, I have enclosed a list of ios's that DOP-Mii churned out. I don't know if you need that or not to help me. I have system menu 4.2u and a custom ios of 249 v14 as well. Homebrew channel works great. I have geckoos. No More Heroes 2 works
fine. Mario Kart Wii loads up, but freezes at random points in the menu screen or during the black screen while it loads the next screen. I have only ever gotten as far as the black screen before the race starts. Some people have luck with all games. I'm sure there is something simple that I can do to resolve this. I have burned the game several times. Does anyone have any ideas? It would help me out a lot!

freezing and blackscreen is a bad rip, try again

Maybe you have a bad ISO; your IOSes seem fine...

Don't pirate, rip the game yourself or play it off the original.

Redownload the iso / wipe disk and make a fresh backup. If you have a spare hdd use it with usb loader. Then you don't have to keep wasting disks in bad iso.

Is there anything else it could be besides a bad iso, or bad burn? Just to give me alternatives if it doesn't work. Thanks to everyone who replied and replies.

It's more than likely a bad dump mate. Your best off going to your local video shop and renting it there then ripping it with USBLoader GX and chucki9ng it on a harddrive, then rip it to your computer and burrrrn

It's a pretty new wii. It has ios36 which is what mario kart uses. the media i used worked with other games. Would a bad rip be the only other possible solution or is there anything else that could be wrong? The problem i am having with mario kart is mainly freezing in menu and blackscreening during loads.

I think I have ruled out a bad burn or bad media and bad rip/iso. Also, I have the right ios for the game. So....What else could possibly cause this?

try again. thats the symptom and thats the solution. there is nothing else. it works fine for everyone else that has a good rip.

how exactly did you "rule it out" id like to hear that

Namely because I needed to install cios222. I figured it out. Like I said, wasn't the media or the rip. I had the ios. Needed another cios other than 249.
