Gaming [Mario Kart 8]Huge spike of difficulty online after reaching 2700VR

It was super easy to come in the first 3 places until I reached 2700VR. Now the kart I use feels slower and I'm lucky if I reach 8th place. How am I ever going to reach 99999 VR like this :S :S :S

I max the acceleration and min the weight and nothing else.

You should max the speed instead. Max accelerations means low speed, and that's why you're losing. You should use one of that heavy characters (Bowser, Morton ...) + a kart with good speed (Blue Falcon, Retro .. Not the the 8 thing cause of low maneuverability) for the wheels i would say slick or super slick
For the glider idk it doesn't matters much (more than in mk8 tho)

Yes in 200cc maxing speed is useless i forgot it cause i don't play "mario kart 8 for the switch"

Mario kart 8 online on wii u was faaaaar more difficult than the switch version, due to the demon slide and fire hopping mechanics. I mean, difficult in a sence that you had to learn those mechanics to success. The switch is mostly item luck and handling on curves/amount of miniturbos you manage to do in each curve. Here is where you combo shows how bad it is. I mean, it is a good combo but for 200cc. In 150cc (most of online matches) you need to do what this guy recommended to you:

Wait. Does in kart 8 deluxe 200cc appears from time to time on normal ww races? This wasnt the case on the wii u version... You only could play 200cc online races by selecting a custom matchmaking. On normal ww races there were always 150cc and mirror only.

Yep, this is exactly the case, sadly. That's why I run an exclusively 150cc Tournament for others like me who prefer not to break in Mario Kart.
