MK8 DLC tracks can be loaded by replacing the course data of the original tracks with the DLC track data. It's highly unconventional but it works. As of right now, updated versions of MK8 do not run in Miimaker mode, only SSB, so you will need an SSB disc

Can you explain in more detail? I tried copying the course data to the course data in the update folder but no joy!
