I've searched all day for information on how to make custom textures and music for Mario Kart 7, but I can't find anything on it at all. I've already dumped the romfs and I know how to make bcstm files, and I've also done custom textures on Mario Kart Wii before so I know how to edit the images, but aside from that I'm completely lost on what to do and how to do it.
It depends on what textures you want to edit. Ohana3DS allows to replace textures in bcmdl files so you may want to use that.
I'll try using that program then once I can figure out how to use EFE, since apparently the SZS modifier from MKW doesn't work for these files. What about for music, I remember you had to patch the brsar for MKW, so do you have to also patch the bcsar for this game? Or is there a file size limitation for the bcstm?
