Coming December 3rd

Nintendo has announced that a special Mario 25th Anniversary boxset will be heading to the UK on December 3rd for the Wii – well that’s my Christmas present sorted then! It has also been listed on Nintendo’s Swedish website – so hopefully the rest of Europe will be getting it too.

The boxset will include the Super Mario All Stars game, a 25 years of Mario history booklet – featuring unseen artwork and development materials - and a soundtrack CD featuring classic Mario themes from the past 25 years.

For those of you who aren’t aware, Super Mario All Stars is a compilation featuring some of Mario’s finest moments – Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels.[/p]

Yeah, they should release a cheaper version with just the soundtrack and book for people that already have the games. But for people that don't have them, this is pretty cool.

I was just wondering this exact thing myself. I figured they would've just lumped it into All-Stars and dropped the "+World" from the title, but alas, no.

i think its shocking the whole "what can we roll out fast and with minimum work" there's no updates or anything all they have done is made a loader screen and dumped some roms on a disc and will expect people to pay £30 to £40 for it

they could have at least remade them using the NSMBW engine or something i mean the record for making SMB 1-1 in reggie is around 15 minutes so
