Maple Story ? checking it out for the first time

im thinking of playing a online game thats free how is this one is it good ?

can anyone give me any tips whats a good class ?

I just searched for this, and it seems that they are making one for DS. Is this game fun? or not so much?

I was addicted to the game for 2 months, played 2+ hours everyday. Then got extremely bored, and pointless.

It can be pretty fun if you know some people to play with. But it gets old fast. Not to mention it is filled to the brim with player douchebaggery and uninspired gameplay. If you aren't going to be playing with some friends, I wouldn't waste your time on the download.

None of the free MMO's are really any good.

Look for pay2play MMOs with private servers

IE, RO, WoW, L2, etc.

The Softnyx games are pretty good too, but they're not MMORPG.

Yeah, it gets old fast.
It's only really fun if you're playing with someone, because I remember I would never touch my MapleStory unless my friend wanted to play with me.
It's not really that fun because you can't really win ... just level up.

You should try Gunbound.

I remember gunbound. God that game was fun. I was playing everyday, but then i suddenly stopped. Like maplestory, gunbound is only fun if you have friends to play it with. If you want an awesome game, try Gunz. Its a mmofps. All you do is enter a room, and kick the ass out of everyone in it using Bazookas(only available after lvl 12 i think) machine guns, pistols, rifles, swords, daggers, and kodachis. It's really fun but you tend to get annoyed when your on the high level servers and everyone is spraying(using machine guns, and just constantly holding the shoot button, and not even aiming.

Just get a few of your friends to play, and you'll be able to enjoy it alot.

My experience with Maple Story?
Every single map with monsters swamred with bots, dirty mannered kids, super grinder, cash items rules all, poor controls and lack of reason to play for months.
I'd rather buy 2 accounts of WoW than to play Maple Story for an hour.

Well its funny. But training takes so long time thast it sometimes become VERY boring.

But im still playing and im lvl 38 Assasin.
