Here's an update to Mollusk's Palib made Map Viewer for the DS

Ok, here's an updated version of my MapViewer...



How to use:

• 1. Flash the rom on your linker
  
  
  
• 2. Copy gif files you want to use as maps in directory /Maps/
  
  
  
• 3. Load the homebrew, it'll list all gif files in that directory
  
  
  
• 4. Click on a map, it'll load up in a few seconds, and you can move around/zoom/etc...

All commands are written on the homebrew when you load it.

The gif is copied to ram, then decompressed to a buffer. So basicaly, the buffer can be like 3MB... Images of 1400x1400 work perfectly on it. Images are in 256 colors, and don't need to be square, could be like 2000x1000 pixels

Nice idea but I sure hope that nobody is ever forced to bring out a Nintendo DS for a map.

If I really wanted to do this I'll just use Comic Book DS.

None of the maps are listed. i put them in the right directory too.
