Hacking Making sure I can safely update shop channel with DOPIOS

Hi all,

So it's my spring break and I'm going to have access to my Wii again, so after asking around before I read that DOP-ios or dop-shop works to update the shop channel.

So I'm wondering if it is safe to update straight to the newest shop channel, or am I suppose to update one version at a time. I'm waaaaay back at the 3.2U shop channel. I also have system version 3.2U.

Just don't want to brick my wii if it's something that I can control.

Install the newest Shop Channel and IOS61 and it will work

make sure you install ios61 first then the shop channel

Sorry, Dop-IOS only updates and applies a trivial patch to your IOSs. You can't do anything else with it. Thinking you can update the shop channel with it is a preposterous idea!

Ok well, I hope it's intuitive to use because I don't see any instructions about if it I can straightly install the newest one.
