Gaming Making GC backups on a Wii

so this is sorta GC and Wii related.
back in the day, talking weeks after Wii release the WiiKey team released their own Wii/GC game ripper, and it was great for then.
then the wii scene grew and wii games were soon being ripped via usb to hard drives etc.
i am at the point where i want to backup all my old GC games now, but after some searching, im not too sure what i should be using to do so.
a lot of the posts i read were old, saying to use the methods that were available back then, so im at a loss for what to do.

anyone recommend a Wii app to dump my GC games?
