Well, I've heard it's an LG-xxxx (xxxx = dunno number, suppose the first number is 6 which i think is right). There might be others

may i say there are alternative methods. such as SD dumping, its faster than using the dvd drive but is a bit more hassle

Is there an SD dumper that will dump DL disks (eg SSBB)? I've been using SDDVD 0.1g by softdev + SD Gecko, but development has been discontinued... I tried dumping SSBB with it, but it stopped after it finished with the first layer. I'd get an LG drive, but I only have a laptop.

theres a "wiikey" SD dumper card for around $5. not sure if it works or not but hey if it doesnt, thats only $5 that you wasted. (wiikey does not make a SD dump card so its a clone yet still works very well [IMG] )
