I'm using usbloader cfg, wii is 4.1. i have a few games on a usb stick on a wbfs partition created by a wbfs for mac manager. I think there is an opthion to create to the wii menu a shortcut of the game from the manger. There is an option to make HBC. so the files that are generated are meta, boot.dol and icon. so where and how do i place them to make that into a shortcut to the game?

Those boot.dol, meta.xml, etc need to be placed in the apps folder on your sd card. But I think you are talking about creating channels in the Wii menu right? If that's the case then you can use Crap, it supports many loaders including CFG. It will create .wad files that you need to install with Wad Manager.
