i think turning sonic the hedgehog into a movie would be a great idea.
except you delete all the characters that aren't sonic. and while you're at it, remove all the iconic locations as well.
for the script, you can just slightly modify a generic one written by a 10th grader five years ago as the daily writing assignment.
now, that is a movie i'd pay to see and then beg for more of.

fortnite/pubg would be a cute movie, fortnite makes some pretty good trailers and skits so it wouldn't be bad actually. pubg i don't know much about but it'd still be cool.

shovel knight anime would be epic, it would make a great 1 or 2 season show indeed

I think most story driven RPGs would make decent movies e.g. Final Fantasy, Ys, Tales series etc. The only issue is condensing all that into a movie only 1-2 hours long, and you'd end up losing a lot of the good stuff.
