Looking for a way to take those youtube 3D vids, that new Japanese ummm well you get the idea, and other 3D vids and play them back correctly on your 3DS? GBAtemp member and Homebrew developer Spinal has a solution. It turns out that it is just a simple matter of reencoding using a tool called ffmpeg. For more information be sure to check the spoiler below or head on over to Spinal's project post.

We're also doing a batch file version in this thread here.

Is there a maximum length or file size for the movie? I'm thinking about converting a feature-length film to watch on my 3DS.

    10 minutes.

But both the batch file and my GUI (and I think most of the other GUIs scattered about the forums, several in my thread, one in another) can split your video. The batch file you must tell it how many videos you need in the end, my GUI should do everything automatically but apparently the first video doesn't work on 3DS when done using my GUI.
