If spoiler images are causing you a problem, just go to My Controls -> Board Settings and turn off inline images (they'll become links), of course you won't get graphic smilies but you takes the rough with the smooth. Learn what you are using and sort the problem yourself rather than clogging up the thread with inane requests. Let the man get on with his (excellent) job!

A) No. B) I'm probably older then you. Besides, the way your post was worded and considering everyone else seems to want to attack me today, it looked it it WAS at me. And why should we have to turn off all images and lose out on stuff, when all WataruKun has to do is add a 9 character [ spoiler ] tag before the bulk of the images and a 10 character [ /spoiler ] tag after the bulk.

this is a remake of G/S/C, and by the looks of it, some of the dialog (insignificant npcs) appear to use the same dialog from G/S/C

in that regard, wouldn't it make sense to use the dialog from G/S/C?

All I'm saying is if the dialogue is the same in HGSS and the original GSC in Japanese, it gets translated the same. I can CUT AND PASTE ONLY if the dialogue at a certain point is the same in both games. That's what I've been doing.

If there is any new or changed dialogue though(Which there is a lot of), I translate it. So will I copy and paste over new text? Hell no.

Besides giving advice to a translator when you A. Don't know any Japanese and B. Haven't compared the Japanese script to the original, is equilvalent to giving advice to an experienced driver when you yourself have no experience in driving.

that i did, but it was a legitimate question, and yes wataru, i used a translator (not the Google one) to type that little bit of Japanese

my question was based on the fact i went and played your translation side by side with my GBC crystal to see if it was the same before posting my question,

And just to let you know dude, some of the dialogue in Crystal is DIFFERENT from in GS, so you wouldn't be able to make an accurate comparison.

Your analogy is flawed, you can give advice to an experience driver because they are still human, humans make mistakes. I know plenty of experience drivers who don't put on their signals when turning, don't fully stop for a stop sign, don't put on their seatbelts, or adjust their mirrors when they get into a car. Some of these things you can get ticketed for but people still do them, because heck people make mistakes, just like you spelled equivalent and translate wrong see that?

Now quit being an arse.
