Just a quick question though.. I am deeply sorry if this has been answered for thousand times.. the thread is at 88 pages now and I don;t have time to read each and every posts... My question is, is this patch going for 100% full translation? The answer im looking for is simply "yes" or "no". Thanks..

I've been wondering, why don't you do just the main story text and graphic hacks and then go back and do the Pokedex and all that other stuff? Most people who are playing through the game just want the main story text, menus, and the graphics translated. That way, people will bug you less about the next release and you can work happily through the Pokedex and all the other stuff. And I should also mention I haven't used your patch yet since I waiting for a full story translation, so I don't know what's translated yet in terms of graphics edits and menus. Anyways, I look forward to the final release! Keep up the good work!

Pokédex entries are already in like 4 or 5 different languages, including english... no translation even needed there

do i just refresh the normal page not with xdeltaui just normal GUI on the HGSS folder not the xdelta gui

i tried refreshin yea but it didnt work

I just redid patching.. This is what I did:

Extract Rudolf Fix Patch
Extract Clean, Untrimmed, Original HG/SS ROM into the same folder as Rudolf Fix Patch
Extract Magnius's Patch
Copy/Cut and Paste Rudolf Fixed HG/SS ROM into the same folder as Magnius's Patch
Execute xDelta GUI.exe
Click on Select Patch and choose appropriate patch for your HG/SS ROM
Click on Select ROM and choose the Rudolf Fixed HG/SS ROM
Wait and be patient.

I just waited like 20secs? I refreshed the page while patching to see the progress.. As Magnius's Translated HG/SS will appear on the same folder as the Magnius's Patch.. Its size will slowly increase as it finishes. You'll end up with something around 120+mb?

BTW, I also tried with a Clean, Untrimmed, Original HG/SS ROM. Same procedure less the application of Rudolf Fix.. Same results. (but yeah.. I can't get pass the title screen without the Rudolf Fix. And the Rudolf Fix only works on a Clean, Untrimmed, Original HG/SS ROM. So I always apply it first before the translation patch.

man keeping up ith this thread without being online for a while is starting to cause me headaches (

Ok lets set this straight people. Many wanted a Platinum translation, it was released fairly quick. This was because much of the text was copy and paste and very little needed to be translated.

SS/HG has two lands in it. Kanto & Jhoto, plus the text is very different that the original games. These newer games have many text intergrated into it graphics, which he has already stated he will not do.

Maybe a so far its a badge every 2 weeks maybe roughly (im going by what watara-kuns updates are). there are 16 badges. I think 2 elite 4's. So 16 weeks at that pace. 16/4 about 4 months. Watara-Kun is working at an amazing speed so his prediction is about right.

Nintendo takes 6 months roughly to release a fully translated version of this game. Watara-Kun quit your job and got to nintendo for one.
