I dare to think there wont be much for you to see in there, since almost all NPCs have two kinds of speeches, specially those that are part of the main plot, and once you are done with them, I dont see theres much point in translating what they are saying again. So I hope Im right by saying that if you want to enjoy his next important release, you will have to start all over again.

I don't think I'll be erasing that save anytime soon.
I don't see why going back would be a problem. Yes, there might be some new text, but that's okay since I know I'm far along.

However, I can always back my save up onto my computer and see all the shiny new English in the next patch!

You dont need to backup your save, just change the name of the rom so the save has a different name

You can have thousands of Pokemon SS games (muahahaha).

Back on topic: You can always try having a *test* rom in which you reset the save over and over to check the changes on the translation. I am playing HG and already beat Red and have all the legendaries and stuff. And btw, Pokesav is TEH stuff

1. I don't own an Acekard but trying it out won't hurt right? My bet is that I will work just fine.

2. Yes, you can still use your old save. Just rename your *.sav with anything as long as it's identical with the *.nds file's file name.

And it seems when I pick up an item the item graphic in the text box is corrupted and says I picked up what seems to be my name .

Now if people can ensure me that if I release 3.1 today, people will actually play it, I will release it TODAY. Also, I'd also appreciate it if someone started a walkthrough of 3.1 after I released it to A. Give it some publicity B. Show others why they should play it from the start and C. To find Japanese text up to Goldenrod which is STILL untranslated.

What 3.1 will have over the original version 3 is...

- Lots of new translated dialogue, which wasn't translated before(Such as story dialogue and NPC dialogue). Things that were left entirely untranslated like the Goldenrod Department store will be translated. There will undoubtly be a few less important things that still won't be translated, but a majority of the text will be in English.

- Descriptions for bookshelves and all that stuff have been added as well as descriptions for stuff in the players house.

- More stuff on the Pokegear will be translated. You can even call a few people and they'll respond in English.

- More items will be translated this time around.

- More menu stuff will translated this time around.

- Possible English logos if someone can tell me how to insert them.

- More Pokemon

- Most of the Yes/No buttons will translated this time around and not left in Hiragana like they were last time.

I have a suggestion if you don't mind...

Could you take your time when to translate v4? Like when the dub takes a break and does like 2 episodes a week, could you do like them and do two gyms and 2 or so event places per patch and then do a revision for that patch after it?

I have to wonder, though, will My Pokemon Ranch and Pokemon Battle Revolution be compatible with this when it is released in the US/EU? If not, do you guys thin they'll release new games that will fill that void?

If they redo Battle Revolution, I REALLY hope they put in an adventure mode, like the GCN Pokemon games.

On another note, I have to say that it makes me feel good that I'm not the only 21 year old Pokemon fan in North America...anymore...

BTW, I will play it today, too. Heck, I'll play it the second it's uploaded! It feels like I've been waiting for Pokemon Gold/Silver to be remade forever!
