    I thought it was going to be a clip from Star Trek Wrath of Khan. Don't dismiss maggots too quickly though, they actually use them in some conditions to chew off dead tissue and help heal injuries. Not an April Fools joke.

    Yeah, I heard about something similar to this ages ago in the UK! But i'm not sure if it was a maggot or a worm which was burrowed into some guy's head. To get it out, they had to 'entice' it out with rashes of bacon that they put around it! Was in the papers here a few years ago!

    Its a maggot. A fly probably laid an egg on her head, and when the egg hatched, the maggot ate its way through her head. How she didn't notice (or feel for that matter) a maggot chewing its way through her head is beyond me.
