Hi guys, first thanks for all the answers I've gotten off this site in the past...

I have an M3 DS Real with the Rumble+Ram pack and it works great for NDS, but GBA roms freeze at the initial "Game Boy" screen.

    I'm using system v 3.5 from here

Is there a newer version I should be using? Maybe it's a defective slot 2 cart?

I've only tested Mother 3, FF V and FF VI Advance.

That freezing usually indicates a bad rom transfer, in my experience. Replace the ROM with a clean, known to work one and see how it goes

You have insufficient posts to view user location.
    not in this case.

mother 3 is a japanese rom, you have to 1, isp patch it to read any of the textboxes; 2, run it in NOR mode; 3, (this might be required depending on the source of the rom) trimming the rom so it fits inside NOR; 4, SRAM patch since it uses Flash as the original save type.

so "clean rom" in this case is not applicatible.
