But, but... These are R4 DS skins ? Can we also use them on the Simply ?

Yes there both exactly the same as far as hardware other then a jumper, R4 makes them both. But because of this jumper difference 2 slightly different versions of software is required. But skins are just BMP images & are exactly the same for both of them.
