Hey there, I have just gotten a M3 Real with the slot 2 GBA expansion. I've tried multiple games (Yoshi's Island, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Legend of Zelda - Link to the Past), they boot and run perfectly for a few minutes, but will always end up freezing. I'm using a 2GB Sandisk MicroSD card in both FAT16 and FAT 32 format.
While it seemed to run A LITTLE better when formatted to FAT 32, it may have just been my imagination. Is anyone else out there having this same issue or have any idea of what to do to fix this?

It could be, but it doesn't seem like it as every other feature of the card works just fine. I also have another SD card laying around that I can try.

I'm not having any issues with playing GBA games on my M3 Real with a 1GB Kingston (Japanese). Perhaps the previous poster may be correct in saying that the card you've recieved is faulty...

Are you having any issues with running DS games? If not it may be just the GBA expansion cart included with the bundle that is faulty.

There seems to be a rumble/ram card test mode in the menu code... maybe they should tell us how to use it?

Any rate try and clean your GBA card's contacts up (eraser or swab and high proof medical alcohol), mess with patching options (most patches tend to run every so many cycles to check for keypresses, if there is a overflow in their patch it could let it run until it overflows so disable them and see what happens), might solve the issue. Shouldn't be anything with the microSD (unless you are putting corrupted ROMs on there).

-You Have to fiddle around with the "Patch" option and the "RTSwitch" option, It made all my games Unfreeze
-Certain games are emulated certain ways as of now...

Right now I let it patch before I play the game, but I leave cheat switch off and RTSave switch disabled. How do you set it up?

Sorry, the translator worked where it wasn't needed ahaha)

ahaha very funny. only I am a developer and a master in laptop repair. I am not a fan of consoles, never repaired them, never played on them, and have no idea what you are talking about here. I just came to show you a tool that can simplify your work on modding PS4 and PS5 BIOS.

If you do not need any tools, and you want to continue laughing and perform these tasks on modding BIOS slowly - do as you want.

I know that any thematic community can be very toxic to new people and will joke about them for any reason.
But I am like that too, and I can joke too.

Only I am from another field of activity, in which you do not understand absolutely anything, and there they will laugh at you if you come there for the first time.

No offense, this is just a response to your jokes :)

Help me get past the rules, or else I blackmail the PS community, is what you are saying? Well no getting past the rules here. If you want to post links, you must have a certain number of posts first, it prevents spammers.

I don't want to bypass your rules on purpose.
But I don't have the time or desire to make 5 posts on a forum unknown to me just to publish a link to an open source project.
If you don't need it, just say so.
I don't need any bypassing of the rules, and I especially don't need jokes at my expense.
I'll even delete my topic entirely if yo
    u're not interested.

@lapot2, not so much trolls as just a little over a half dozen chumps who hang out in here regularly and chitchat about various things. Usually not even gaming lol. Hence it'd probably be better to just get a few posts and interact with the community a little bit so you can share the link directly :)

the main thing is that I like your sense of humor, mine is also very well developed xD

I already created a topic in the PS4 section a few hours ago

do you need help with your thread?

@DinohScene , I created a topic a long time ago, but I couldn't attach links to it to GitHub with materials for self-assembly of the device and a short review.
that's why I wrote to this chat later :D
  • DinohScene @ DinohScene:
report the thread you made and write down what links you'd want me to attach to the OP as the report reason, I'll take care of it immediately ;)

The open version, although it does not have many conveniences, but even without them it will be more convenient to work than with any other tools like ch341 and ezp2023.
Well, the full version is still impossible to get in Europe, so this is not even an advertisement for a paid device)
