Are cheat files allowed in GBA games? If yes, I would love to get a .db file that can cover a lot if not all the GBA games for cheats, like the ones I see for NDS games. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

yes it does.. unfortunately GBA games didn't have any cheats.db coz u can only select ur own cheat manually, for every single game

so if u want a cheat for particular game:
    - go find it in the net (with .xml, .cht, .dht extensions)
    - copy it to any folder
    - browse & select that file from GBA loader
    - then it will load up when u start the game

Try looking in the GBA Cheat folder inside the M3 Game manager(for slot 2) those cheats should work.

Most cheats included have weird descriptions and also only cheats up to 2301 are included. I basically try to convert AR and CB codes to the cht format. The cht files can be edited with notepad.

Get the cht files here: http://www.handheldsources.com/G6DS/GBA%20cheat%20(en).rar

There is a guide here on how to convert cheats: http://www.m3wiki.com/index.php/GBA_Cht

Not all codes can be converted though. Although I have gotten other codes that don't start with 82 or 83 or 3 converted as well.

For weird codes that are a few lines long and that are meant for items. You can enter the codes in the VBA emulator and then save the game and then convert the save file to M3/G6 format with http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=1354 this tool and then load the save file in the flash cart and it should work fine that way.

    On the M3/G6 Real

The games go in the \GBA Directory (If you want) you can create a cheats directory inside and put the cheat files there. When you select a GBA game and before you start the game you have the option to choose the *.cht file and enable cheats and RTS.
