Hacking M3 Real and M3 Perfect

I was going to buy an M3 Real, but today I read this:

I had an m3simply/m3lite combo and recently bought the m3real perfect bundle with the gba expansion pak.
You can use the m3lite in combination with the m3 real to play gba games, but you will still have to patch the gba roms to play on the m3lite.
With the gba expansion pak u DONT have to patch the roms for use with the m3 real u drag/ drop onto the card and play.
I think that is the biggest selling point of the m3real gba expack, u dont have to patch the game and think about what settings to use to play the game/ drop clean rom onto card and u play

So I still can't play clean GBA roms? :'( Can anyone confirm this?

Btw, buying an GBA Pack is not an option, 'cause I still use a DS Phat

I'm using the M3 Perfect to play GBA games. Just download clean roms, put them on the real and all set. No patching required.

So it should work on the lite aswell.

You only have to patch them if you run the games from slot 2, I have a G6 Real with an M3 Lite and dont have to patch games if I run them from the G6.
