I am pretty much going to buy and M3 perfect for $60 with a passcard3 and 1G memory bundle. I just need these final 3 questions answered about it:

-Does M3 CF perfect come with any type of cheating program for GBA and NDS games?
-How much onboard RAM does the M3 have exactly?
-How is homebrew compatibility on the NDS and GBA side for the CF version? I know there is DLDI but does that downright take care of all homebrew? What about GBA homebrew?

Thanks in advance.

All GBA games are 32 megabytes or less. The only ones higher (IIRC) are Shrek 2 and Shark Tale (The actual movies, nto games) which aren't even dumped.

32 megabits=4 megabytes, so I'm pretty sure he meant megabytes.

While I haven't used much homebrew many of the ones that I've used required no DLDI, the only one that did was DSOrganize 3.0

Thank you. Did all the homebrew you try work?

So you have an M3 perfect? Does it come with any kind of cheating device for GBA and NDS games?

I'm not sure if the M3 can be used to cheat with GBA games, If possible I would cheat in VBA and save then put the save on the M3, for DS games you can use Dipstar but it can be tough to get used to, its also hard to find cheats for espicially now that the official forums are gone (I think). As for the homwbrew, all of the ones I used worked except for DSOrganize 3.0 which I had to use the GBAMP DLDI on (for some reason the M3 DLDI doesn't work).

Thank you for all your help guys. I got all my questions answered. And ya, dipstar is just on NDS roms. I have found no way to cheat on GBA game.

PS: Anyone know where the dipstar codes are? I am guessing it AR codes don't work right? So no pokesav for pokemon DP.

As far as I know Pokesav is a PC app, unless there has been an update you can use it (I did when I played DP) ad if you have the official cart then there is a homebrew which lets you use AR codes for it.

It seems I'm a bit late, but for what it's worth: I have the M3 Perfect CF, and it's great. Period. Go get it. Go, go, go.

Where are you getting it from? Is it new? Or is it second-hand?

Yes, I meant megabytes. The M3 Perfect has 32 megabytes while the M3 Pro contains only 32 megabits. As long as you've got the Perfect, you'll be able to play nearly all GBA games.

Just for those who might be interested, DSDatabase is going to work on a huge comparison between the EZ Flash, Supercard and M3 products, they will include tests that will go across the board and pretty much comments on how I feel about each cart. I might include G6, but then I think it's a completely different category.
NICE!

Guess I will hold up on getting one until I read that. When will it be done?

I just want to see if I am making the right decision in getting an M3 perfect or not.

PS: does rudolphs 3in1 tool work with M3 perfect?
