Hi.. does anyone have pictures of how the M3 Mini-SD sits in a DS Lite..

I'm curious to know how much is sticks out!

I'm tempted to get one.. but if it sticks out too much I might just wait for the M3 Lite

If anyone could post some pictures, that would be great!

There's loads of pictures on the forum. Just search for a bit.

However I did a small video a while back: link

My opinion? It's too big. I've already sold mine. I'm going for the g6 lite. I just hate having that thing sticking out. I mean, you can't even hold your DS by the side :/

Thanks for the quick reply!

I see what you mean about it sticking out.. the G6 Lite isn't much use for movies though?.. isn't the capacity a lot lower than the SD cards?

Perhaps the M3 Lite will sort this out

It sticks out about 14mm. It doesn't interfere with my grip at all, no matter if I hold it in "book mode" or not. But it could be more comfortable in my pocket.

Edit: I believe the G6 will be available in 512MB (4Gb) initially. That's enough for quite a few games.

Hi,

I just read a lot of information about the M3 mini-SD adapter on the M3 website and on this forum. However two things
are not very clear, at least to me
wink.gif

1) Can you only use mini-SD memory in this adapter, or also normal SD memory?

2) is the color of the M3 only available in grey. In Europe you only have the white and black version of the DS Lite.
First I wanted to buy the black one, however the combination of a light grey adapter does not seem to be a very good choice.
Like on the videolink above it looks OK with the white version, however a complete white or black adapter would have been the best option.
And 14mm is not much, but is that for the DS Lite or the 'old' DS.

Thanks.

Derfape:
1) You can use mini-SD ONLY. If you want to use SD, you'll have to get an M3 Perfect SD Lite (or "Slim"), which can use both (since miniSD will fit into an SD sized adapter).

2) It's only available in grey. But, there's always paint, dude!

Here are 3 of the most popular units that support mini-sd.
If color is a problem you can always try the supercard mini.
A dark purple supercard in a black DS-Lite should look nice,
Not to mention the SC is the smallest of the three.

Just to point out that supposedly newer shipments of M3 Mini SD from now on are he same size as the Supercard.

TBH, I don't actually mind it - when I'm lying in bed watching movies, it makes it easy to hold (the smaller DS Lite means your more likely to hit a button that stops the DPG, or fast forwards or whatever, which justs pisses you off)

/me makes a DSLite + m3 CF stand
