These are EXTRA translations...
The normal, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English ones were already out.
These are new beta translations.

you talking about? Sure these are extra translations, but the M3 is REGION LOCKED.
AKA - Chinese can only use Chinese firmware, Japanese can only use Japanese firmware
If the base firmware is english, then only English M3's can use the new translations... making sense now, no?
ridgecity: give it a try, I doubt it though considering the quote I posted above. The worst that could happen is it will give you a Chinese error message saying "wrong region" or something like that.
phantastic91: I'm not seeing anything at all in the GBATMW forum regarding the translations, nor anything in the M3 forum.
edit:/ just got my old Chinese M3-SD (the huge one) out of the box and gave the French version a try. It finds the .f30, asks to press start to update or A to skip, then says language error. (at least, that is my guess since I don't read Chinese)
edit2:/going back to c12 to convert to english, then updating to f30 = does not work.
So no, there is no way to use these new languages on anything but the English versions of the M3.
