Hacking M3 DS REAL: Next Firmware to speed up OS?

I really like the M3 and R4 adapters. Even though I have the M3 DS Real I still enjoy using the R4 due to it being very simple easy to use and a very fast GUI.

I have myself a few M3 DS REAL Cards and I'm waiting for the team to update the Firmware to increase compatibility and speed up GUI.

Other then these minor problems I'm good with the card. I know it's just going to get better but when though? I have faith in the M3 Team though so I'm sure they wont let me down.

Anyone know?

I would put on ds organise and use it for managing files

TIP: put ds organise at the top of the root then go to it easly to quickly find files

TIP#2: Hide all files you don't want to see

TIP#3: if m3 wont boot it ds organise probably can

No, at best you would only improve the GUI speed by a small fraction through any modification to the filesystem, etc.

lol yha well just to clear thing sup... my main question was regarding a firmware update that will increase speed of the GUI.

Does anyone know if this is going to happen? And if so when?

I think the reason due to the GUI being slower is because the card displays more game icons at one time then the R4 and M3 Simply.

R4/M3 Simply both display one game icon at a time where as the M3 DS Real displays 4 at once.

Thats just an assumption but I hope they implement a way where you can browse a lot faster.

I asked the m3 team about increasing the m3's GUI speed as well. They've replied to me, saying that they're working on it, and they're trying their best to fix the problems. They never told me anything about when the next firmware was.

Thats great news to hear, I can't wait until it starts to speed up.

Once this happens and my current amount of space exceeds 2gb I'll start to migrate to the M3 DS Real from the R4/M3 Simply
