Does anyone know how to edit the Cheat.db on the M3 DS Real? I tried using notepad, word pad, and tried to manually enter in codes but then, instead of messing up one game's code, it messes up the whole Cheat.db.

Got any tips on how I can add codes? thanks

Whats wrong with the pre-made ones?

I think you need i hex editor or something similar but dont take my word for it because im not sure. (advanced)

Also you could try downloading cheat code editors pack (or r4cce), rename "whatever.db" to "whatever.dat" then edit it using the

software, then when your done change it back to ".db". (less advanced)

Make a backup of the database if you try both of these.

well, I wanted to add the Zelda D-Pad codes in instead of patching the Rom.

Hmm you can use the cheat code editors pack to write the code, export it as .xml or .db then combine it with your existing cheat.db with the M3 cheat code combiner.
