Haha, funny thing is, I actually am camping outside. Well, more like sitting in my car parked right outside of Gamestop catching up on some Super Princess Peach until they open up.

This game is the ONLY reason I would EVER contemplate getting a PS3. It makes me sad inside.

Portable Ops is eww. Might as well just use Wikipedia to fill in the story.

MGS3 is FUCKING CRUCIAL. Srsly, it's my favorite of the first three titles. It's just... orgasmicly orgasmic.

I've never been that into the Metal Gear games, I always get spotted within 30 seconds and I spend the next ten minutes running around trying to lose my spotted status.

I seriously have no patience...Which seems to be a requirement of MGS.

...speak with the drunken Russian dude (Granin?) who explains you a little about Metal Gear right after you disguise yourself as a scientist. I remember that place was annoyingly difficult for me to go on unspotted, my guess was that getting out was going to be as hard, but I stopped playing there

Too bad I won't be able to recover my save game (or am I?), my friend had an action replay and I think he saved my Memory Card saves into a USB drive and sent them by email to me, but I'm not sure if my MGS3 save made it as my Memory Card had some reading issues =(

I did play about 12 to 15 hours, I can't remember very well though.
Too bad, I'll have to play the whole thing again =)

Remember the Subsistence copy you sold me?, I sold it last December as I had a terrible $$$ emergency. Oh well, Snake Eater will have to do.

If I haven't played previous MGS games, wouldn't I miss quite a bit in MGS4?
It appears that MGS4 may be full of previous MGS-references.
One reason to skip MGS4 and let my PS3 collect dust. (I think I have Disgaea 3 in my PS3)

Its not THAT crucial man. Big Boss'spast is not that important compared to all the rest. The other two however... MGS2 was great but playing with raiden made it a bit annoying.

i've played mgs4 online beta and it wasn't that bad , i just hate the menu to select the weapons

Meh. Haven't got a PS3 and the only one who has got a ps3 (he has got it since monday I think) wants to get GTA IV first. :\
The limited edition looks awesome , I even though about buying it without a PS3...
