Gaming Lunar Knights locking up and corrupting saves?

I've been playing Lunar Knights and I really love the game, but about every 10 or so times I go to save the system will hang (with the music still playing) on the "saving" screen, and I'll have to turn it off and go back in. When I load the save, it'll load up a character on a completely black map with nowhere to move...making it unplayable.

Is this a common problem? What could be the cause?

Heres a few things you can try when it comes to games freezing.....

1.Try a new dump
2.If you had your memory card for awhile give it a format now and then and readd everything back
3.Clean the metal contacts on your flash cart and memory card
4.If you trim your games make sure to use a good trimmer like NDSTokyoTrim,or try to keep some games untrimmed and see if it makes a difference....
5.Delete the game off your memory card and retransfer it from your computer to your memory card,sometimes the cheap readers that come with flashcarts like to mess things up once in awhile.....
