Just sounded like HBM was crashing because it wasn't there. It was a thought is all.

This is a latest-version of Checkpoint issue, not Luma3ds. This bug is widespread and already reported:
https://github.com/FlagBrew/Checkpoint/issues?q=is:open+is:issue
You can "fix" the issue by just using the previous version of Checkpoint or use JKSM instead.

I don't know what happened to it or where it is.
If it is hidden how can i find it again?

There is no titles folder in the luma folder but i found a titles folder in the Nintendo 3DS folder somehow

I've solved the problem. Ijust didn't create that folder when i was supposed to

Ok so I followed the guide and managed to install luma without any issue, but it's on my sysnand and it doesn't say anything about emunand.
How can I create an emunand?
Because I want keep my sysnand for legit online gaming not risking ban, and use offline emunand for cheats and cia warez.

You don't need an emunand. A ban is very unlikely on the 3ds.

Exactly as BaamAlex said on the 3ds Nintendo only ban you for cheating in an online game and for using a stolen credit card in the eshop.

I went about four years or so not knowing if I had gotten banned, possibly for playing a pokemon game or something before release. that used to be a way you could get banned, but the 3ds is largely dead with new releases. anyway, I finally got the courage to check the friends' list. that should error on you if you get banned. anyway, it worked, no ban. I checked that a couple months ago, I think. I guess I just didn't want to know, because it would've stressed me out. don't worry about it now though.
