I think if you hold either start or select when selecting the game (Like how gameboy VC displays the actual gameboy frame) It should maybe help. When playing GBA games on my N3DSXL with Luma3DS CFW, I get this weird cropping issue with the games. I was wondering if anyone knew how to resolve this issue or if this was related to Luma or not. I am using A9LH and I have tried this with and without the "Show GBA boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM." There is a picture below to show the problem I am having.
EDIT: Interestingly, this only happens with SOME games. Games such as WarioWare, Inc. do not have this problem.

That works, but I would rather play in fullscreen.I think if you hold either start or select when selecting the game (Like how gameboy VC displays the actual gameboy frame) It should maybe help.
Well then is another way, you can use the Ultimate GBA VC injector tool And i think has a option to change screen size to full screen. But Actual Eshop downloads don't. You can manually extract the cia file with the hackpack then alter the config file to fit the desire resolution, then repack it and install it. Is how i do with my games. That works, but I would rather play in fullscreen.
EDIT: Wait, nevermind. Still doesn't work, but the cropping is different than when in fullscreen.
IDK, but when I used the tool, it still had the cropping issue.Well then is another way, you can use the Ultimate GBA VC injector tool And i think has a option to change screen size to full screen. But this isn't a issue with Luma so i guess someone may be upset discussing it here.![]()
So there was no option to alter resolution size?IDK, but when I used the tool, it still had the cropping issue.
I didn't see it, maybe because I tried to edit it from a pre-existing CIA?So there was no option to alter resolution size?
Did you use the ultimate injector? If you did., go post about it there, don't upset the goddess.I didn't see it, maybe because I tried to edit it from a pre-existing CIA?
EDIT: I thought it may be a problem with the patched AGB_FIRM?
No. Either get a hardmod or get another system with CFW to do DSiware downgrade. Is it possible to install Luma3ds via the Homebrew Launcher with firmware 11.0?
To recap, it crashes BOTH on your 2DS and your New 3DS?
Can you try with an empty, freshly formatted SD card? I also have two 11.0.33-E systems (a New 3DS and an Old XL) and they both work, their 9.0 emuNANDs also work. Maybe also remove the game cartridge if there's any inserted, and tell me your results.
If it still crashes, it would be useful to have your CTRNAND (maybe in private), dumped in a transferrable format in Decrypt9, so I can test. I have no idea why it crashes or why that "fix" I posted even works, and I can't reproduce this at all...
If you are on arm9loaderhax with no emuNAND, then yes.I have a question,if i want to change my SD card can i just copy the file to new sd card?
If you are on arm9loaderhax with no emuNAND, then yes.
Yes, you can just copy.Sorry,im noob at this, but i installed luma 3ds with the old guide so can i jusy copy it? Sorry for being noob and bad english
What firmware are you on?So. Big question. Where do i put this actually? Kinda new around here and around the world of Nintendo CFW.
