This is weird :/
Maybe try padding the config file out to at least a cluster size unit.
Just try this. For what purpose? How do I do that?
Should I rename it config.bin right? I'll try it, if it doesn't work I'll try using a Firmware.binJust try this.
No, you're supposed to leave it as config with no extension :/Should I rename it config.bin right? I'll try it, if it doesn't work I'll try using a Firmware.bin
EDIT: Nope, it's just hangs on black screens, I'll try using a firmware.bin

I haven't kept up with your situation but have your tried running saltcfw or whatever it's called? It's basically luma with the config removed and less features and if you can't boot up using that cfw either then it should remove luma or its options as the actual problem. Worth a shot if you haven't already tried
No this cfw is basically perfectHello I been away from the scene in the past month, so I wonder if this new cfw still have the issue with the 3D at first boot using the standards method (ie. menuhax) + emunand ?
Delete everything that was reinand from your sd including the rei folder and arm9loaderhax.binHey guys, I'm trying to get updated to the latest whatever. I haven't kept up on anything and i'm still running ReiNAND with arm9lh. As I understand from the directions, I simply download Luma3DS, copy everything from the sd:/rei folder to luma, but then the upgrade insctructions say to remove everything but the payloads folder (which is empty btw) so ... apparently there isn't anything that is supposed to be moved from rei to luma if you're just supposed to remove all but payloads? Can someone post a screenshot of how the luma directory structure is supposed to look like, and what is supposed to go into the paylods folder? Also, what is this button business that is talked about in the wiki? Thanks in advance.
My setup is currently, reiNAND/arm9lh/sysNAND/ booting up very quick.

Just place the luma arm9loaderhax.bin on your sd root and the luma folder on sd root
Done.
The payload folder is for things like decrypt9 on boot and the "button pushing" thing is to boot either into your payloads or emunand/sysnand. On first boot a config menu will pop up and you will see your options the wiki will have everything else you need to know
I tried scrolling back about 5 - 6 pages on this thread to see what system/hax you were running. If you are using an emuNAND, I would venture to guess that you didn't copy the partition over to the new SD card.@TuxSH @Aurora Wright Turns out that today my new sd card arrived (a Samsung EVO 32 GB) and after copying my files and trying with this one it doesn't even want to enter to the config menu :/
How much would could a would Ammako chuck, if a would Ammako could chuck would?I think that would be a nice touch.
it probably wouldn't be very useful
but it would be really cool
if it would be possible.
If it would be too much
I wouldn't mind having to run NTR every time.

But I may be wrong and in that case I can't help you. However, it was just a suggestion.

Does anyone have an answer for that earlier question about leaving the lid closed for a period of time and is there a solution? What would cause of that? It's happened multiple times but not to the point where it makes me reboot 10-15 times to get it fixed.
For the small comments/questions about battery drain on emuNAND, it's probably because the SD card is being read/written to the whole time it's asleep.
I'd venture that after a while the 3DS is like "I'm not dependent on reading from the SD card, it'd save me lots of battery if I didn't" and stops. Therefore it crashes.

Totally unrelated content is in this spoiler. :^)
Ah, well then yeah, I was totally off.I don't use emunand, I use Sysnand with a9lh.
