You don't need firmware.bin anymore, the latest commt of Luma3DS restores the dynarec support. Feel free to update to 11.0.

I don't see any new release for Luma? I'm on 5.4 and that is the latest one posted 13 days ago. I didn't update yet to 11.0 even though people have been saying it's safe. I don't have technical skills I have no idea what firmware.bin does or dynarac support. I just managed to follow the guide and that's it!

The latest commit of Luma is always available from here http://luma3ds.ericchu.net/

But if you want FW 11 you have to make a compromise!
So DL the nightly build or wait until the next official build will be released and then update to 11.

I know but in the last couple hours (or better since 11 is released) there are some very interesting changes in the source of Luma3DS :)

My 3ds crashes on the scren init with the latest commit of Luma :/ I had to revert back to 5.4 (i'm on FW 11 btw).

EDIT: NVM, it also doesn't want to work with 5.4 now, only blackscreens after screeninit on startup :/ can I get some help?

Seems to be an issue on your end.
Try to delete config.bin maybe.
Already did it, I haven't done nothing more than change the a9lh bin file and the luma folder and now this is happening :/

It seems like it crashes after screeninit since I have to hold the power button for more than 10 secs in order to shutting off the console

Other people don't have problems with the latest commit so...
did you try to use a firmware.bin (uncheck "sysnand is updated").

I'm having a problem compiling the last commits, that's the error I get

Code:
source/firm.c: In function 'patchNativeFirm':
source/firm.c:376:51: error: 'arm11Section1' undeclared (first use in this function)
         patchKernelFCRAMAndVRAMMappingPermissions(arm11Section1);
                                                   ^
source/firm.c:376:51: note: each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in
Makefile:116: recipe for target 'build/firm.o' failed
make: *** [build/firm.o] Error 1

I have ctrulib updated, so what's wrong? How do I fix it?

Thanks in advance =D

I'll fix that (you're compiling the dev branch).
