you insult @Aurora Wright and you insult @Plailect's guide thus insulting everyone involved with it. bugger off.
It's called constructive criticism. There's a huge difference. I'm not putting down anyone's work. Just suggesting improvements.
We'll treat you like someone who knows what they're talking about when you actually know what you're talking about... Based on your statements, it sounds to me like you mixed up your sys and emuNAND when running the restore (since sysNAND had the file in question and the keep a9lh doesn't actually touch the filesystem), so a simple mistake on your part and you start insulting the devs who (as stated above) do this work FOR FREE, you aren't entitled to anything, like getting free advice when you don't know what to do or try on your own, so yes we'll be condescending, mean assholes if we want, you don't have to like it, accept it, or use the software provided if you don't want... Since, you know, it's all free when there are people who get paid to write code instead of just putting it out there.
If that were the case then I wouldn't be running 10.7, would I? I did not insult anyone. And I didn't have to say anything. I only pointed out these issues in case anyone else has them. Not to get in an ego war. If some people can't accept that what I say happened actually happened, they can believe what they want to, but I have better things to do with my time than sit around making things up, and carrying on this senseless argument.
It's safe to update, but homebrews that use svcBackdoor (e.g. RetroArch CIAs and BootNTR, which would just dump debug info) will no longer work right (i.e. they will crash) until a workaround is made.
Thanks for the heads up. Based on that, I think I'll hold off on updating for now. Well, I guess we all knew 10.7 was overdue for a replacement. It's been almost two months.
